Congratulations to Damiano Sogaro on winnning the Pam Price Cup!!

 At the beginning of the term, Pam Price very kindly donated a cup to the Buccaneers Club. The cup was to be awarded at the end of each term to the fencer who, in the opinion of the coaches, performed the best overall in a number of different categories.
These were:

  • Attendance

  • Improvement

  • Attitude

  • Technique

There were 6 fencers nominated:

  • Sam Watts

  • Lillith Hickling

  • Ben Clarke

  • Damiano Sogaro

  • Alice King

  • Rebecca Bye
The final result was a very close run thing between all the candidates. After a great deal of debate it was finally decided that Damiano should receive the award. Congratulations to him, and well done to all the others for making it such a difficult decision. We hope that all our fencers will be encouraged to work hard to improve over the next year.
